"Love the lobby bar. It's a hidden gem in Ventura. Great selection of drinks including local wine and beer. Went with a friend and ordered several of the snacks - my favorite was the bacon wrapped dates (rich but excellent). The architecture is beautiful and the staff members are friendly and efficient."

"My wife and I stayed here for the first time at the end of October 2025. We decided to stay based on the reviews here on Google Maps and the positive reviews were right. We liked the room and the staff. It was nice to be close to downtown, yet have privacy and quiet at the hotel itself, even Halloween celebrations downtown didn't bother us much. The best thing for us was relaxing near the fireplace on the patio."
